Roderick " Sir Rod " Patterson Currently resides in Lithonia, GA with his wife and son. He is the CEO of The Sounds of Knowledge, a school assembly touring company that visits local and regional schools to deliver positive messages to youth through the medium of music. Patterson formerly headed one of the countries largest school assembly companies (Diversity Showcase Assemblies) where he spearheaded efforts that touched more than a million school aged children across the nation. He has also worked as an Art Director for So-So Def Recordings as well as Georgia Perimeter College before branching out on his own with the Sounds of Knowledge, which just completed a 25 school assembly tour across the southeast in April 2013.
As an entertainer, artist, motivational speaker and new author, Patterson believes that his life should be an example to others, particularly young people as he has overcome great adversity throughout his younger life in overcoming the affects of dyslexia; part of which he shares in his new book 333 and Me. As a spiritual man, he also spreads the message that each of us is endowed with divine gifts and purpose which we should always seek to find and utilize for the benefit of ourselves as well as others. Currently Patterson is planning the next phase of his national school assembly tour as well as promoting his new book.
